Hi Bear families,
            We have a really exciting outing planning for this weekend to Greenbank Mill.  I will be sending out a scavenger hunt list of things to be "found" (or discovered) during our outing.  This should be a fun way for the boys to note what they have learned and seen.  After the event, I will also send you a list of achievements to check off in your sons handbook.
 
Event: Greenbank Mill Hosts Revolutionary War Encampment and 18th Century Market
Date: Saturday, October 13th 1 - 3pm  (THIS SATURDAY)
Cost: Adults - $7,  Children - $5 (the web site is wrong),  Greenbank Mill members - $2

There will be plenty of re-enactors there to discuss and display the 18th Century, interact with the Scouts and answer questions.  There will be craftsman as well as a market to learn about trade of the times.
 
We'll be together as a group from about 1pm - 3pm.  Ending at this time, I figure the boys can have an hour with their families to walk around, from 3-4pm, if they are interested.  There will be some trinkets available in the style of the era if the boys want souveniers.
 
There is no need to register for the event, just meet us at the gate BY 1pm on Saturday.  If you plan to make it but cannot be there at 1pm, please meet us inside.
 
This is a Class "B" uniform event. (T-shirt)
